How We Started

Born from a passion for travel done right

Groovy Lands Travel started after one too many disappointing travel experiences — overpriced hotels that didn't match their photos, missed connections from poor itinerary planning, and hours lost to research with no clear answers.

We built the agency we wished existed: one that combines genuine industry connections with the kind of personal attention a close friend with expert knowledge would give you. Not a booking algorithm. Not a call center. A real travel partner who cares how your trip turns out.

Since 2019, we've planned over 200 trips to more than 40 destinations — from solo sabbaticals to 30-person group adventures — and we're just getting started.

Hi, I'm Morgan — and I've been exactly where you are.

I spent years planning my own travel the hard way: hours of research, second-guessing every booking, and arriving somewhere beautiful only to realize I'd missed the best parts. So I became obsessed with doing it better.

After working with a major hotel group and completing certification through a global travel consortium, I launched Groovy Lands Travel to bring that insider access to everyday travelers. I've personally visited 34 countries and use that experience in every recommendation I make.

When I'm not planning trips, I'm usually writing up destination guides, testing new restaurants that clients might love, or plotting my next adventure. Travel isn't just my work — it's genuinely how I see the world.
